"Your Beauty, Our Science": My Journey as a Doctor and Foundress of The Science of Beauty
For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I recall, even in kindergarten, dreaming of a white coat, a stethoscope, and a deep desire to care for others. That goal became the driving force in my life, and I worked tirelessly for years to make it a reality.
In 2008, I completed my Doctorate in Medicine, and since 2016, I have been practicing as a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Specialist — a profession that has taught me the importance of composure, compassion, and the ability to make life-saving decisions quickly. At the same time, I have the honor of sharing my experiences as an Assistant Professor at Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine, where I help train the next generation of physicians.
But my story doesn't end there. During my teenage years, modeling was a hobby that allowed me to connect with beauty from a different perspective — one rooted in confidence, self-love, and the empowering feeling of being comfortable in your own skin. That experience awakened a passion in me that never faded: the desire to highlight the beauty that already exists in every human being.
With a desire to unite my two great vocations — medical science and the art of aesthetics — I decided to pursue further studies in Regenerative Aesthetic Medicine, a field that goes far beyond the superficial. It’s about understanding and respecting the natural aging process, and accompanying it with safe, effective treatments that restore vitality without compromising one’s essence.
Thus, The Science of Beauty was born — a space where we take a personalized approach that merges science with art, and medical expertise with human care. Our motto, "Your Beauty, Our Science," is not just a phrase — it's a philosophy. Because I firmly believe that when a treatment is grounded in science and applied with sensitivity and precision, it doesn’t just transform the face — it uplifts self-esteem and enhances quality of life.
For me, every patient is unique. I strive to offer a warm, safe, and pleasant experience from the very first contact. My mission is not to change anyone, but to help each person see themselves with more love — and feel in harmony with who they are.
